Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2010 will be March 6th. With the help and support from you, bowlers, and other sponsors our goal is to raise $65,000. By supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters, you have truly made a difference in the lives of youth in our community.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake is the biggest and most important fundraiser for BBBS. Each year we work to increase the number of teams who participate so that we can increase the number of children that are served through positive mentoring relationships. Teams are made up of one team captain and four to five other participants. Again at this year’s event, area businesses will compete against each other to win prizes and bragging rights for being the company to raise the most money for BBBS. In 2009, the business winner was B&K Prescription Shop, who raised over $3,200. Second place was Sunflower Bank who raised over $3,000. We would also like to recognize Salina Clinic who raised over $2,500.

Not only does the success of Bowl For Kids’ Sake depend on the number of teams and the amount of money those teams raise, but also on those who are sponsors of the event. There are three levels of sponsorships: Major Event $1,000, King Pin $500 and Lane sponsor $250. With each level of sponsorship come various forms of recognition for the business or individual.
